July 19, 2006 Board Meeting Agenda Item #60 Title APPROVAL TO AWARD BID #7005 FOR CUSTOM CABINETRY - TIME AND MATERIALS Description Bids to provide 'Custom Cabinetry - Time and Materials' were received from three vendors on June 15, 2006.  The bids of  Angelo Tumminaro Cabinet and Elite Woodwork were the best low bids meeting the advertised specifications.  The bid of Sunbelt Kitchens was non-responsive to bidding the disposal of refuse by the ton.  This bid is for a period of one year with the option to renew for two additional one-year periods.  The funds for these purchases are contained in the capital budget allocated to the Facilities Services Department. Recommendation That the bids of Angelo Tumminaro Cabinet and Elite Woodwork, to provide 'Custom Cabinetry - Time and Materials' in an amount not to exceed $250,000.00, be approved for award and purchase.
